Externomat is an informational project. It was created to help students with their choice of what kind of internship semester or semester abroad they want to choose. There is a digital and a analogue version of the Externomat. Displayed on the left is the course and usage of the digital prototype.
The digital externomat directs the user trough 20 questions, which can be answered with “does apply“, “neutral“ or “does not apply“. After answering the questions the Externomat evaluates the results and tells the users, which kind of internship or semester abroad fits them best.
The final result is displayed it percentages, so that the user can still inform themselves about all three forms of external semesters. There are a few links shown, that are linked to useful website.
There is also an analogue version of the externomat. It is used as a leaflet to be handed out at info days or events.
The analogue Externomat is based on the same questions as the digital one. They work in similar ways.
